Terms & Conditions

Business really shouldn't be complicated, but there are just a few points to be aware of and the following terms and conditions form part of a binding contract once a deposit has been paid.

Bookings: A £99 deposit is required to actually secure the booking. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. Once the deposit payment has been made, all "Terms and Conditions" contained on this page apply.

Payments: Are staged in three easy instalments as follows :-

a) £99 deposit to secure the booking

b) 75% of the outstanding balance is due 28 days before the wedding

c) the remaining balance is due on receipt of your photographs / DVD

Example - Package 2 (£499 total price)

£99 deposit (leaving a balance of £400)

75% ~ £300 due 28 days before the wedding

£100 due on receipt of your album after the wedding

Copyright: Under English law, Glenn Mather Photography retains the copyright to any image / photograph resulting from your booking and as such we may use any image for the sole purpose of promoting the company in the future.

Whilst Glenn Mather Photography retains full copyright as outlined above, you are free to use any image / photograph supplied to you as part of a fully paid Print or DVD package as long as it is for your own personal use and not for profit.

Any images contained within this web site remain the sole property of Glenn Mather Photography and may not by copied or used in any way without written consent.

Limitations: Glenn Mather Photography may be limited by restrictions placed on them by the venue as to where, when and how photographs may be taken, e.g. no flash allowed. This may impact on the number, style, variety and quality of photographs taken. Due to the vagaries of the weather and the willingness of subjects, it may not be possible to capture all the images requested. The client accepts these limitations.

In addition, not every photograph taken on the day may actually result in an acceptable or usable image. Such images will not be presented to the client. Also where multiple shots of the same image are taken (e.g. multiple shots of the same wedding group), only one image may be provided to the client to avoid unnecessary duplication.

Wedding albums or DVD's supplied may differ from any illustrations, descriptions or samples shown, but will be supplied of similar or better quality.

Liability: Any liability by either party is limited to the total amount of monies paid to Glenn Mather Photography by the client. Neither party is liable for any additional or consequential losses whatsoever.

Images: All image sizes are nominal. We will endeavour to provide a pleasing colour balance, but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially man-made fibers. Varying lighting conditions also mean it is sometimes impossible to reproduce the exact colour as perceived by the human eye, which in itself varies from person to person.

When printing from the printable DVD, we cannot guarantee that images produced will be consistent when printed on different printers or suppliers, as clearly we have no control over which service provider, printer, paper, ink, colour profile, etc. are being used to produce the photographs.

Album Selection Process: Images will be kept by Glenn Mather Photography for a minimum of six months from the date of your wedding. After this time, image files may be deleted without notice. It is therefore imperative that the client informs Glenn Mather Photography of their album selections, in writing, before the six month period expires.

If the six month period has been exceeded and the image files have been deleted, then it will be impossible to produce an album or provide any photographs. In this situation, no further payment or refund will be due by either the client or Glenn Mather Photography and the booking will be deemed complete and fulfilled.

However, if the six month period has been exceeded, but the image files have not yet been deleted, then any outstanding money must be paid before the album / photographs are produced for the client. In addition, Glenn Mather Photography reserves the right to adjust the final amount that is payable in this situation, to take into account current prices and supplier cost increases that may have occurred during the extended time period.
